Bridlington-based band The Sex Pistols Experience are due to hit the road in America again - and will be filmed for a movie while there. After a successful five-week tour in February and March, taking in Texas, Arizona, California, Oregon and finishing in Las Vegas, the band will fly ouyt to the USA again in a couple of weeks.

Starting in Baltimore, the band will tour the north east before their playing their final gig of the trip at BB King's Blues Club in New York's Times Square. The next day they will begin filming on location for a movie version of Alan parker's book Vicious - Too fast To Live, the true story of the murder of Nancy Spungon and the subsequent death of Sid Vicious.

The leading roles are being played by the band's bassist Kid Vicious and Bridlington girl Sophie Boyes. After filming, the band will return to the UK for a handful of dates before beginning a month-long tour of Spain.
