Red Bamboo Studio is a well-equipped recording studio, situated in central
Bridlington, offering a professional sevice for every kind of recording
need at very reasonable prices.
Who Is It Ran By?
It is ran by Dave Allott. He has been a working musician for over 30 years
and he is still active in both performing and teaching bass guitar. He
has many years of recording experience and can offer any degree of crative
and musical input that you require.
Who Can We Cater For?
Bands
It's a small studio. There is room to fit a band in, drums and all, but
it is a squash. Be prepared to gwt to know each other a lot better!! Having
said that the prices reflect the sometimes cramped conditions. You'll
still sound great and enjoy the experience.
Everybody Else
No problem!! he can record groups of singers up to 12 at a time, then
combine the tracks. For example, he is currently recording the Hot Gospel
choir. He first of all recorded the band playing, with guide vocals from
the lead singer. On a different day he then recorded the sopranos. He
has not got round to the altos, bass etc. yet, but you get the picture
- it all just fits together like a jigsaw.
What Services Are Availble?
Demo Recording
Most agents, venues, record companies etc. like to see a well-presented
CD with 3 or 4 of your best songs. After recording your songs to radio
broadcast quality (He has had songs recorded here played on British, US
and Japanese radio, also British TV) He can also take your photo whilst
you are singing and put this onto the CD, along with contact information
etc. Alternatively you can use your own design. He uses on-body CD printing
for a professional finish.
CD's To Sell or Give To Friends etc.
He can record an album for you to sell at your performances, or even just
to give to friends and family. He can help you design the artwork, and
can produce small quantities (up to 25). For larger quantities he can
help arrange CD duplication and printing.
Song Arranging
He can assist you in writing or arranging a song with both lyrics and
music.
Mastering
He applies mastering to every song he produces. When all the editing and
mixing has been done it is applied to add a little zest to a song and
also to add a professional polish. He is happy to master any of your songs
that you have already recorded. You might be amazed at the difference.
Just ask local music producer TonyM of M-Tech Music. The songs that he
had mastered here last summer earned him a deal with a Italian record
label.
Star For A Day
The most popular package. You get a whole day of studio time: up to 3
hours singing time followed by 7 hours or more mixing and mastering etc.
At the end you get 2 CD's with your photo on. He also sells vouchers to
give someone as as the ideal Birthday, Anniversary, Christmas present
etc.
Single Song Deal
As above but you get 1 hour singing time plus at least 2.5 hours mixing
and mastering etc.
